100% Sauvignon Blanc from the famed single-vineyard "Chene Marchand" in the prestigious Sancerre village of Bu. All grapes are hand-harvested and selected; extremely low yields; fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts in enamel-lined steel tanks. Aged on the lees. The wine opens with a deep bouquet of citrus fruit, elderflower and jasmine. This is a pure and lovely, yet densely woven and concentrated Sancerre with a well-balanced interplay of fruit and minerality and a long, refreshing finish.
