The Nero “Lagnusa” is particularly memorable and one of the most ideal introductions to the category possible. It earned 92 points from Vinous who called it “remarkably fresh yet long, leaving the mouth watering while still resonating on hints of blackberry.” As a pizza or Thanksgiving wine, you can’t do any better. For a Nero d’Avola, there is no better producer in the world than Fuedo Montoni. This is the one you want. Again, it’s not just me saying this – us wine people all agree!
