Starting of on the floral side (violet), followed by deeper, ripe red and black berries. Both fine and fleshy. Beautiful pure and straight structure, built on powdery tannins. The finish is long and fresh and sometimes chocolatey. As a Beaujolais, Brouilly has the advantage of being the perfect partner to a multitude of dishes. Originalities: on a gazpacho, a quail with truffles or an oxtail risotto, meat accompanied by a Provençal tian.
