A unique whisky with a 14 year maturation process in its transition from whiskey to the rum filled barrels to add hints of toffee and fruit to the already outstanding honeyed character of Balvenie. Balvenie 14 Year Caribbean Cask is known as a rum cask finished scotch. It is transferred from whiskey barrels to once filled rum casks at the end of the aging process to produce a creamy taste with hints of vanilla and provides a fruity character that develops with time, leaving the scotch drinker with a soft, lingering taste while adding spicy aromatic qualities of rum to this beautiful scotch.
